Edinburgh, 20 to 30 October

The treasure hunt

Songs from the album, hidden around Edinburgh in places that mean something to me. Each spot opens on its own day, and the clue is in my Instagram video that morning. Every spot has a QR code that plays a song from the album before anyone else can hear it, and a harp print for the first person there. The last song is waiting at Mother Superior on launch night, 30 October.

How to play

  1. Watch @daraplaysharp on Instagram for each spot's clue.
  2. Find the spot and scan the code to hear the song. The first person there keeps the print.
  3. Leave a wish or a thought for the fairy tree. It's anonymous.
  4. Post a story of the print or the spot and tag @daraplaysharp. Every spot you find is another entry in the ticket draw.

The fairy tree

Leave a wish on the tree

In Irish tradition you leave a token or a message at the foot of a fairy tree and hope the fairies grant your wish. At my gigs you can cast away a negative thought or wish someone else well, completely anonymously.

Every wish left here and on the hunt becomes a light on the tree, and they all hang on the real tree at the launch night.

It's anonymous. I read every one before it goes up.
